Graduate students: See below regarding how you'll receive your fellowship or traineeship stipend funds.
RECEIVING STIPENDS
If you receive fellowship or traineeship stipend payments, Student Financial Solutions will disburse the funds via direct deposit.
The stipend will first appear as a credit on your student account. However, the funds will not pay for any charges on your student account and will be refunded to the student directly.
You are encouraged to enroll in direct deposit via the TSS My Bank Accounts App to receive your stipend as soon as possible. If you're not enrolled in direct deposit, the stipend will be mailed as a paper check to the address on file.
Important: Students who previously had direct deposit information on file in TritonLink must re-enroll in TSS. Banking information entered or updated in the TritonLink Direct Deposit tool does not automatically transfer to TSS.
!! NOTE !!: Graduate students who are also active employees will receive stipend disbursements according to direct deposit setup in UCPath. Be sure UCPath direct deposit information is up to date. Please contact your graduate program with any questions.
DELAYED PAYMENTS
If your payment is delayed, it may be due to a hold on your account:
- Check for holds on your student account.
- Learn about the different types of student account holds and how to resolve them.
